Paragraph On My Childhood

Sweet is the days of childhood and their memories are sweeter still. So I often look back to my childhood to cheer my mind and forget the sorrow. I was born in Monoharpur, a small beautiful village in the district of Chandpur. My family consisted of my parents, myself, my sister, a cousin, and my grandmother. I remember how fondly they loved me. My grandmother told me nice nursery rhymes and fairy tales. I roamed about through the village and played with my friends. I became very intimate with some of them and that intimacy continues till today. I could not forget the very first day at school. When I entered the compound with my father, the school had not yet begun and the children of my age were enjoying themselves here and there. I had wished to play about with them. My heart began to beat faster when I was taken to the Headmaster. But his smiling face and gentle words endeared him to me. I was admitted to class 2. Many days had gone by before I came to school. But my childhood days and the Pilot Govt. Primary School life was marked with many memories that are still fresh in my mind and I often long for going back to these days of unforgettable joy and delight.
