Dear Habib,
Assalamu alaikum
Thank you very much for your letter. In this letter, I am giving you an account of my journey from Chaumuhani to Chandpur by boat. I hope it will give you much pleasure.
A friend of mine invited me to go there on the occasion of the marriage ceremony of his sister. I accepted his offer with thanks and made up my mind to go there.
It was a moonlit night. I hired a large boat. There were two boatmen in it. We started for Chaumuhani at 7 a. m. The boat was going at the teeth of the wind. So the progress was very slow. The boatmen set sail in it. Then the boat began to play like a hawk. Soon it came to the river. I was frightened to see the river. But the boatmen cheered me up. On the way, I saw many things worth seeing. I became tired and fell fast asleep. At last the boat safely reached Chandpur. Thus my long journey by boat came to an end.
