TREE PLANTATION

Introduction: Many things have been created by Allah for the welfare of human beings. They have made relationship with nature. Nature helps us in many ways. Trees are the most part of them. They are gifts of nature. They are our best friend. So, tree plantation is very important for our life and economy.


Classes of tree: There many kinds of trees. Some are big and some are small. Some trees have branches and some have no branches. Some trees have flowers and some have no flowers. Some are famous for fruits and some are for supplying wood.


Narration: A tree has commonly five parts. They are trunk, branches, flowers, leaves and roots. It collects food from the ground by its roots. It also takes food from the sun and the air by its leaves. 


Fruits and flowers: Some trees gives us their fruits and flowers. Fruits are a great source of food and vitamins. So human beings can keep their body fit and sound by taking fruits. Flowers are also a great refreshment of human mind. 


Wood: A tree is very useful to us. It gives us also wood. This wood is used in making houses, boats, ships, furniture etc. We export the furniture to many other countries and earn a lot of foreign exchange.


Its influence on life: Tree gives shade and shelter to many people. Birds build their nests in the trees and man gets building materials from the tree. Many people use trees as fuel. Above all, the tree purifies air by taking Carbon-di-Oxide and omitting Oxygen.


Its influence on climate: Trees maintain the balance of our environment. They make the land fertile. They save us from floods and cyclones. They also present air pollution.


Condition of our trees: The people of our country cut down trees regularly. So, our country is losing her trees. If this process continuous, she will be turned into a desert. It is perfect time we planted trees to prevent our environment. 


Aim of plantation: Trees are very essential to man. So everybody should plant a tree in his home and look after them. Road or high-way side trees gives shade and often saves live from accidents. Shady and fruit trees should be planted by the sides of roads, ponds, dams and railway lines, in the madrashah and college. As a result, we can earn foreign currency exchanging by exporting wood, furniture, flowers and fruits.


Time of plantation: June and July are the proper time for planting trees. Our Government is aware of it and has taken positive steps in this direction. We should use fertilizer and water them when necessary. ‘Tree plantation week’ must not be held in towns only. In villages trees will be planted by every family.


Conclusion: Trees are very important to human life. So, we should plant more and more trees in order to maintain a balance between man and human.
