Punctuality refers to the habit of doing things at the right time. It means proper use of time. It is a great virtue. This is a habit that could be grown by hard practice. Our life is very shouting in this world. But we have got many things to do. Punctuality teaches us to do everything on time because time waits for none. It teaches us not to put off things for tomorrow. It saves us time. It gives us ample time to do many things. It leads us to the peak of glory. It enables us to perform our duties in time and thus we can avoid any kind of trouble. It is at the root of any success. Besides, our life is very competitive in the world. So we must be careful and punctual in our duties and responsibilities. If things are done at the proper time nothing will be required to be put off for the future and therefore there will be no pressure for work to be done. The man who does not have this quality leaves everything undone and unfinished and thus makes himself a source of annoyance to others. He will never succeed in life. In short, the importance of punctuality is a beggar description. Therefore, the habit of punctuality should be formed from our childhood.
