Birds of Bangladesh
Bangladesh has many kinds of birds. We awake with the chirping of birds at dawn.
Bangladesh has a large number of birds of many classes. They are the crow, the cuckoo, the pigeon, the hawk, the heron, the dove, the shalik, the parrot, the parrot, the myna, the sparrow, and the duck. Moreover, there are many other birds in our country.
The crow is a common bird. It is ugly looking. Its voice is harsh. It feeds on rotten things. It keeps our environment healthy.
The pigeon is a small but pretty bird. It lives in houses. Some people tame it. The cuckoo is a migratory bird. Its voice is very sweet.
The Mag-pie-robbin is found everywhere in the country. It is also called the national bird of Bangladesh. The heron, the goose are common birds. Their meat is delicious. The kingfisher lives by the river and feeds on fish. The sparrow is a busy bird. It builds its nest in the caves of our houses.
The shalik, the parrot, the myna belong to this class. The shyama and Chandana are also talking birds. The hawk, the vulture, the kite, and the eagle are the birds of prey. They prey on the fish, the chicken, and the dead body of animals.
Bangladesh is lucky because it has a large number of birds. Birds also help us to keep our environment clean and balanced.
