spring is the season of my liking. It is the last and loveliest season of the year. The months of Flagon and Chaitra comprise the spring season.

Spring comes after winter. With the coming of spring, nature decorates itself with flowers and fruit. Its magic touch brings new leaves to branches of trees. The grass becomes greener. With the advent of spring, nature assumes new life. The migratory songbird cuckoo comes with spring. Colourful flowers bloom and their fragrance spread all around. The mango along with some other fruit trees blossom in spring. A gentle breeze blows from the south. This is a really good time of the year. Days and nights become equal. No excessive heat nor cold is felt during the spring season.

Spring has its own demerits. In the last part of the season, the sun begins to emit excessive heat. None can go out in the mid-day. Ponds canals and marshes are often dried. Cholera and dysentery generally break out at this time. Spring is a really good time, particularly the first part of this season. So spring has good and bad sides too.
