প্রিয় ভিউয়ারস, আশা করি ভালো আছেন। আমিও আল্লাহর রহমতে ভালো আছি। আজকের ব্লগে ‘Tense বা কাল’ এর অন্যতম প্রকার “Present Tense বা বর্তমান কালের প্রথম প্রকার Present Indefinite Tense / Simple Present Tense” নিয়ে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা শেয়ার করবো। আশা করি আপনারা উপকৃত হবেন। তাহলে শুরু করা যাক।

⇒ Present Indefinite Tense এর পরিচয়ঃ Verb
এর যে রুপ বর্তমানে কোন কাজ সচরাচর ঘটা, অভ্যাস বা চিরসত্য বুঝায় তাকে Present
Indefinite Tense / Simple Present Tense বলে।
বাংলায় চিনার উপায়ঃ বাংলা ক্রিয়ার শেষে এ,
অ, ই, য় ইত্যাদি। অথবা করি, কর, করিস, করে, করেন, যাই, যাও, যান, যাস, পড়, পড়ে, পড়েন,
পড়িস, ঘুমাও, ঘুমান ইত্যাদি থাকে।
গঠন প্রণালীঃ Subject + মূল Verb এর
Present Form (V1) + Object / Complement.
উদাহরণঃ
They play football.
He lives in Dhaka.
Maha goes to College every day.
⇒ নোটঃ
👉Subject যদি Third Person Singular
Number হয় তাহলে Verb এর শেষে “s/es’ যোগ হয়।
👉Verb এর শেষ অক্ষর যদি Consonant হয় তাহলে
উক্ত Verb এর শেষে ‘s’ যুক্ত হয়। আর যদি Verb এর শেষ অক্ষর Vowel বা “ss, sh, ch,
x” ইত্যাদি থাকে তাহলে তাদের শেষে ‘es’ যুক্ত হয়।
উল্লেখ্য, বাক্যের Affirmative রুপ ছাড়াও
আরও কয়েকটি গঠন রয়েছে তা হলো – Negative, Interrogative এবং Negative-Interrogative।
নিম্নে এদের সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত বর্ণনা দেওয়া হলো –
⇒ Negative এ গঠনঃ
গঠনপ্রণালীঃ Subject + Do / Does + Not +
মূল Verb + Object / Complement.
উদাহরণঃ
We do not play football.
He does not eat rice.
You do not go there.
⇒ Interrogative এ গঠনঃ
গঠনপ্রনালীঃ Do / Does + Subject + মূল
Verb + Object / Complement +?.
উদাহরণঃ
Do you play football?
Does he eat rice?
Do they work hard?
⇒ Negative-Interrogative এর গঠনঃ
গঠনপ্রনালীঃ Do / Does + Subject + Not +
মূল Verb + Object / Complement +?
উদাহরণঃ
Do I not eat rice?
Does he not read a book?

Present Tense এর ব্যবহারঃ
⇘ সাধারণত বর্তমানকালের কোনো ঘটনা বা তথ্য প্রকাশ
করতে Present Indefinite Tense / Simple Present Tense ব্যবহৃত হয়। যেমন –
I read a book.
I do the work.
⇘ চিরন্তন সত্য বুঝাতে Present Indefinite
Tense / Simple Present Tense ব্যবহৃত হয়। যেমন –
The sun rises in the east.
The earth moves around the sun.
⇘ অভ্যাসগত কাজ নির্দেশ করতে Present
Indefinite Tense / Simple Present Tense ব্যবহৃত হয়। যেমন –
He takes tea at night.
They take regular physical exercise.
I walk on the road every morning.
⇘ প্রতিনিয়ত বা সবসময়েই ঘটে এরুপ বুঝাতে
Present Indefinite Tense / Simple Present Tense ব্যবহৃত হয়। যেমন –
He goes to Dhaka frequently.
She often visits the place.
⇘ ভবিষ্যত ঘটনা ব্যক্ত করতে Present
Indefinite Tense / Simple Present Tense ব্যবহৃত হয়। তবে এক্ষেত্রে ভবিষ্যত সময়ের
উল্লেখ থাকতে হবে। যেমন –
He leaves for Chandpur tomorrow.
Our examinations begin on Saturday
next.
⇘ লেখকের কোনো উক্তি উদ্ধৃত করতে Present
Indefinite Tense / Simple Present Tense ব্যবহৃত হয়। যেমন –
Abraham Lincoln says, “Democracy is the
government of the people, by the people, and for the people.
Ketas says, “A thing of beauty is a joy
forever.”
⇘ অতীত কালের কোনো ঐতিহাসিক ঘটনা প্রকাশ করতে
Present Indefinite Tense / Simple Present Tense ব্যবহৃত হয়। যেমন –
Bangladesh comes into being in 1971.
Akbar ascends the throne of Delhi at
the age of thirteen.
⇘ Sure এবং Certain এ দুটি Adjective এর সাথে
infinitive ‘to’ যুক্ত হয়ে ভবিষ্যতের কোনো কাজ বা অবস্থা প্রকাশ করতে Present
Indefinite Tense / Simple Present Tense ব্যবহৃত হয়। যেমন –
He is sure to convince her to do the
work.
They are certain to find out the missing
file.
⇘ Always, usually, occasionally,
sometimes, often, every day, week, month, ইত্যাদি Adverb গুলো বেশিরভাগ ক্ষেত্রে
Present Indefinite Tense / Simple Present Tense ব্যবহৃত হয়। যেমন –
They always speak the truth.
I usually go to the market.
I visit the place every month.
⇘ Instructions, directions এবং
demonstrations এর ক্ষেত্রে Present Indefinite Tense / Simple Present Tense ব্যবহৃত
হয়। যেমন –
You wait here until we come back.
You clean the floor.
You obey her advice.
⇘ Feel, seem, see, hear, smell, appear,
surprise, look, want, wish, desire, love, like hate, hope, refuse, prefer,
think, believe, suppose, agree, deny, disguise, consider, dislike, remember,
forget, imagine, know, contain, understand, consist of, belong of ইত্যাদি verb গুলোতে
Present Indefinite Tense / Simple Present Tense ব্যবহৃত হয়। এদের Continuous
Form হয় না। যেমন –
I smell something bad from you.
You look horrible.
He desires to become great.
I see a bird.
The girl looks beautiful.
He seems to be clever.
