Knowledge is Power or Ignorance is The
Curse of God (জ্ঞানই শক্তি বা অজ্ঞতা সৃষ্টিকর্তার অভিশাপ)
It is true for an individual as well as
for a nation that knowledge is really a great power. Man is powerful over the
other creatures and dominations them. It is only because he has more knowledge
than other animals. A nation dominates other nations. It is also because of his
vastness of knowledge. The USA possessed knowledge of the Atom Bomb during
the Second World War. And it is because of this he could defeat Japan. The
English people became the most powerful nation of the world because of
penicillin, a very important medicine for the treatment of many fatal diseases.
This knowledge of medicine has brought honour to the English people. Today
America and Russia possess knowledge of many scientific discoveries. Their
young men have gone onto the space. Today they are considered as a powerful
nation of the world. Thus, the possessors of knowledge of any kind are strong
and powerful. They are praised and honoured all over the world. On the other
hand, ignorance is a curse of God. Ignorant people are governed and exploited
by those who possess knowledge.
