Everybody desires to achieve success in life, but very few can attain it. Human life is not a bed of roses. It is full of struggles and difficulties. He who fears struggles cannot succeed in life. Pains and gains are two sides of the same coin. There are no gains without pains. Without labour, nothing can be achieved. The sun smiles behind the cloud. Even to pluck a rose, one must be pricked by thorns. We have to work hard to succeed in life. Failure is the pillar of success. To achieve success we need courage, patience and perseverance. Sometimes we may fail but we should not give up our determination. Nothing can be gained without pain. A man is not born rich. Rather he becomes rich by dint of hard labour. A student becomes successful in the same way also. The ant sleeps in peace in winter after working hard in summer. The astronauts would not be able to reach the moon if they became fearful of the pains and dangers of infinite space. So we have to be courageous to take any kind of pain for success in life. All the great men in the world have become great by virtue of their hard labour in a perfect way, not in a hasty way.

বাংলা অনুবাদঃ প্রত্যেকেই জীবনে সাফল্য লাভ করতে চেয় কিন্তু খুব কম লোকি তা পারে। মানুষের জীবন পুস্পশয্যা নয়। এটি কষ্ট ও সমস্যায় পরিপূর্ণ। যে পরিশ্রমকে ভয় পায় সে জীবনে উন্নতি করতে পারে না। দুঃখ ও অর্জন একটি মুদ্রার এপিঠ-ওপিঠ। কষ্ট ছাড়া কোনো কিছুই মিলে না। পরিশ্রম ছাড়া কোনো কিছু অর্জিত হয় না। মেঘের আড়ালে সূর্য হাসে। একটি গোলাপ তুলতে গেলেও হাতে কাঁটার আঘাত লাগে। জীবনে সাফল্য অর্জনের জন্য আমাদের কঠোর পরিশ্রম করতে হবে। ব্যর্থতাই সাফল্যের স্তম্ভ। সাফল্যের জন্য আমাদের দরকার সাহস, ধৈর্য এবং অধ্যবসায়। মাঝে মাঝে আমরা হয়তো ব্যর্থ হব কিন্তু কখনই আমাদের প্রতিজ্ঞা ত্যাগ করব না। কোনো কিছুই পরিশ্রম ছাড়া অর্জিত হয় না। একজন মানুষ ধনী হয়ে জন্মে না। বরং সে পরিশ্রম করে ধনী হয়। একজন ছাত্রও পরিশ্রম করেই সফলতা অর্জন করে। পিঁপড়া পুরো গ্রীষ্মকাল কঠোর পরিশ্রম করে খাদ্য আহরণ করে ও শীতকালে ঘুমায়। নভোচারীরা কষ্ট না করলে ও মহাশূন্যে বিপদের ঝুঁকি না নিলে তাদের চাঁদে পৌঁছান সম্ভবপর হতো না। সুতরাং জীবনে সাফল্যের জন্য যে কোনো ধরনের কষ্ট স্বীকারে আমাদের সাহসী হতে হবে। পৃথিবীতে বিখ্যাত ব্যক্তগিণ সঠিক উপায়ে পরিশ্রম করে বড় হয়েছেন, ঝটিকা উপায়ে নয়।
