Paragraph On A Little Learning is a Dangerous Thing
It is a proverb that “A little learning
is a dangerous thing”. Even an ordinary man understands it well. This proverb
means that a man who has little knowledge of a thing is a great danger. He is
like a quack. He knows very little of a thing. His knowledge is shallow. He
does not know all the aspects of a thing. The more one learns, the more one
knows. But a little learned man does not try to learn more. He is not open to conviction.
He thinks himself to be the master of his subject. He feels proud in his heart
of his little knowledge. Therefore, he makes serious mistakes and proves
himself to be a danger to society. If a doctor is not qualified, he can
prove very harmful to his patients. His wrong prescription can be a cause of
death. Similarly, an unqualified teacher is dangerous to the nation.
