Paragraph On A Religious Festival
A festival that is celebrated in
observance of religious rites and usage is known as a religious festival. People
of every religion celebrate their religious festivals with great eagerness and
enthusiasm. As a Muslim, Eid-ul-Fitr is the greatest religious festival to me.
It is celebrated with, proper respect throughout the Muslim world. All Muslims,
especially the young ones wait eagerly for Eid as it draws near. The thought of
Eid takes away sleep from the eyes of young children. Eid-ul-fitr takes place on
the first day of Shawal after the month of Ramadan. On this day, all Muslims
rise very early. After taking a bath, all men and young boys go to the Eid-gah to
say their prayer. On this day, everybody puts on new clothes and visits one
another’s houses. Various items are cooked on this occasion. The rich distribute
clothes, food, and money among the poor and distressed. Eid-ul-Fitr has a great
lesson for Muslims. A religious festival like Eid-ul-fitr teaches Muslims to love all men and makes them feel a great bond of union among
themselves all over the world.
