Paragraph On A Public Library
A public library is an establishment
where books, magazines, and other reading materials are kept for the use of the
people at large. Readers and members can read the materials of their choice in
a public library. They can also take books to their homes in accordance with
the library rules. The utility of a public library cannot be adequately
described. It immensely helps in the spread of knowledge. An individual reader
cannot buy or procure all the books and journals he wants to read. The
students, teachers, and researchers cannot collect all kinds of materials they
need for study. Besides, they find it difficult, even impossible to gather books
that are out of print or of foreign origin. Public libraries are the reading
houses which, in such circumstances, they can rely upon. Moreover, a public
library can develop the reading habit of people in general. A public
library is, therefore, a very important institution.
