An Ideal Teacher
Introduction: An ideal teacher is a
teacher who is good and favourite to all kinds of students. He is ideal both as
a man and a teacher.
Guidance and interest of the students: An
ideal teacher knows how to guide and coach the students well. He is very
inquisitive about the interests of all kinds of students. There are various
kinds of students in a particular class. He tries his best to give equal
importance to all the students satisfying their needs. He never likes to gain
cheap popularity by giving importance to a particular kind of pupil. He has the
heart to realize the different problems of different students and he guides
them accordingly. He never discourages the dull and idle students.
Loving and affectionate to students: A
loving and affectionate teacher can command the respect and love of the
students by conquering their hearts. He is ideal to them in every respect. He
thinks something good for himself. He can study the minds of students by
studying their faces. To him, the face is the index of the mind.
An ideal teacher can discover the
latent qualities of students: An ideal teacher tries to discover the latent
qualities in his students. He never forces his students to cram any answer
which they do not understand. He never inflicts any physical punishment on his
students and can help them obtain perfect knowledge of anything.
An ideal teacher makes the students
self-confident: An ideal teacher makes his students stand on their own feet. He
knows best that self-reliance makes students successful in their day-to-day
lives.
