of Compulsory Free Primary Education in Bangladesh
Habib Gazi, Dhaka August 03, 2023 – There
is no doubt that education is the backbone of a nation. If a nation is highly
educated, it can easily reach the zenith of success. Primary education is the basis
of all kinds of education. If primary education is not properly done by a
nation, it will never do anything good. Primary education in Bangladesh has
been made free. But it is not going on properly. Those who teach in primary
schools are not efficient and skilled enough to serve the purpose. We should do
something more scientific for the welfare of the primary school teachers. If
they are properly trained, they can do many things for the nation. In the
rural areas, the condition of compulsory free primary education is very
pathetic. Teachers instead of joining to teach the students do other things and
after the end of the month, they draw the salary by ailing the officials of the
Thana Education Office. This is a fact that is experienced through investigation.
The students are not properly taught for which they remain ignorant and
uneducated. It should be stopped by taking effective measures.
