Ekusher Boi Mela at Bangla Academy Premises

Habib Gazi, Dhaka, 15 February 2023 – It is true that February is a remarkable month for the people of Bangladesh. Now it has become an important day for the global people since 21 February, has been declared the International Mother Language Day. To observe the month of February every year on the premises of Bangla Academy a book fair takes place. Like every year, this year an excellent book fair in the same place named Ekusher Boi Mela in Dhaka has taken place and this fair has been opened by the Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. There are many book stalls in the fair. Readers have mustered strong in the fair and they are buying books eagerly. It is totally unbelievable that the people of Bangladesh have become good readers of books. They have stood in competition to buy books to fulfill their thirst for knowledge. It is really very praiseworthy. The Director General of Bangla Academy has welcomed this tendency of the readers. He also expects that this will last long and help us to form a wonderful and prosperous Bangladesh.
