প্রিয় শিক্ষার্থীবন্ধুরা, আশা করি ভালো আছেন। আমিও আল্লাহর রহমতে ভালো আছি। ইতিপূর্বে Preposition নিয়ে এই ব্লগে বিস্তারিত আলোচন করা হয়েছে (এখানে দেখুন) । আজকের ব্লগে যে সকল শব্দের (Noun, Adjective, Verb) পরে সাধারনত Preposition (in, with, for, from, of, to, on) বসে তা নিয়ে আলোচনা করবো। আশা করি আপনারা উপকৃত হবেন তাহলে শুরু করা যাক।
Preposition বা পদান্বয়ী অব্যয় এর বর্ণনাঃ
সংজ্ঞাঃ Pre অর্থ আগে বা পূর্বে এবং
Position অর্থ অবস্থান, স্থান। তাহলে Preposition এর অর্থ হলো পূর্বে অবস্থান। সুতরাং,
যে শব্দ কোনো Noun, Pronoun অথবা Noun Phrase এর পুর্বে বসে তার বা তাদের সাথে বাক্যস্থিত
অন্য কোনো শব্দের সাথে সম্পর্ক প্রকাশ করে তাদেরকে Preposition বা পদান্বয়ী অব্যয় বলে।
যেমনঃ
The book is on the table
উপরের বাক্যে ‘on’ শব্দটি “book ও table” এর মধ্যে সম্পর্ক স্থাপন করেছে তাই এখানে “On” একটি Preposition.
Preposition বসে এমন শব্দের তালিকা –
⇘ নিম্নলিখিত Adjective ও Participles – গুলোর
পরে Preposition এর ‘in’ বসে। যেমন – Accomplished, absorbed, abstemious,
accurate, assiduous, backward, bigoted, correct, defective, deficient,
experienced, diligent, enveloped, fertile, foiled, honest, implicated,
interested, involved, proficient, remiss, temperate, versed.
⇘ নিম্নলিখিত Adjective ও Participles – গুলোর
পরে Preposition এর ‘with’ বসে। যেমন – Afflicted, acquainted, beset, busy,
compatible, complaint, consistent, contemporary, contented, contrasted,
conversant, convulsed, delighted, deluged, disgusted, drenched, endowed,
fatigued, fired, gifted, infatuated, infected, infested, inspired, intimate,
invested, overcome, popular, replete, satiated, satisfied, touched.
⇘ নিম্নলিখিত Noun – গুলোর পরে Preposition
এর ‘for’ বসে। যেমন – Ambition, affection, anxiety, blame, candidate, capacity,
compassion, compensation, contempt, craving, desire, esteem, fitness, fondness,
guarantee, leisure, liking, match, motive, need, opportunity, apology,
appetite, aptitude, partiality, passion, pity, prediction, pretext, relish,
remorse, reputation, surety.
⇘ নিম্নলিখিত Noun – গুলোর পরে Preposition
এর ‘with’ বসে। যেমন – Alliance, acquaintance, bargain, comparison, conformity,
enmity, intercourse, intimacy, relations.
⇘ নিম্নলিখিত Noun – গুলোর পরে Preposition
এর ‘from’ বসে। যেমন – Destinee, cessation, deliverance, descent, digression,
scope, exemption, inference, respite.
⇘ নিম্নলিখিত Noun – গুলোর পরে Preposition
এর ‘of’ বসে। যেমন – Assurance, abhorrence, charge, doubt, distrust, experience,
failure, observance, proof, result, want.
⇘ নিম্নলিখিত Noun – গুলোর পরে Preposition
এর ‘to’ বসে। যেমন – Access, accession, allegiance, alternative, antidote,
antipathy, approach, assent, attachment, attention, concession, disgrace,
dislike, encouragement, enmity, exception, incentive, indifference, invitation,
key, leniency, likeness, limit, menace, obedience, objection, obstruction,
opposition, postscript, preface, reference, repugnance, resemblance, sequel,

পরে Preposition এর ‘to’ বসে। যেমন – Amenable, analogous, applicable,

useful, zealous.

এর ‘with’ বসে। যেমন – Associate, bear, class, coincide, comply, condole, cope,
correspond, credit, deluge, disagree, dispense, expostulate, fill, grapple,
intrigue, meddle, part, quarrel, demonstrate, side, sympathize, vie.

এর ‘of’ বসে। যেমন – Acquit, beware, boast, complain, despair, die, disapprove,

এর ‘for’ বসে। যেমন – Atone, canvass, care, clamour, feel, hope, mourn, pine,
start, stipulate, sue, wish, yearn.
⇘ নিম্নলিখিত Verb – গুলোর পরে Preposition
এর ‘in’ বসে। যেমন – Acquiesce, dabble, delight, employ, enlist, excel, fall,
glory, increase, indulge, involve, preserve, persist.
⇘ নিম্নলিখিত Verb – গুলোর পরে Preposition
এর ‘on’ বসে। যেমন – Comment, decide, deliberate, depend, determine, dwell, eat,
subsist, embark, encroach, enlarge, impose, insist, intrude, resolve.
