Thank you so much for sending me this lovely gift which carries your love and feeling for me. I know you are very busy with your studies.
But today, friend, I will tell you some social service side by side with your studies. You know 80% of people in our country who live in villages are illiterate. That’s why we are poor, although our country is so much rich in natural resources. Illiteracy is the cause of our poverty. To remove this curse of illiteracy from society, students can play a vital role.
You can open a night school in your locality where many people are illiterate. So, you, along with your other friends in your village, can open a night school and teach the old and the young illiterate people. If the student community helps in opening night school in every village of Bangladesh and in teaching the illiterate the curse of illiteracy would vanish from Bangladesh.
