Paragraph On Silence
Silence refers to the calm and quiet view of nature. In the midst of din and midst, silence is of great value. It brings peace and happiness to a tired heart. It helps a man to shake off his anxiety and to be fresh again. It is a heavenly gift to mankind. But in solitude far from human habitation, it aches the heart. It emerges a fearful and unbearable condition. It strikes him with wild awe. Silence is of great utility to the human race. Man has to undergo hard toil from morning to evening. Silence offers him nothing pleasure. It offers a great opportunity to the weary man to ponder over different matters undisturbed. In the lap of silence, a person can look back on his daily activities. He can judge his doing from various viewpoints and gets a chance for self-study. It adjures pleasant thoughts in the anguished heart and refreshes it. It helps one to forget sorrow and suffering. Silence brings a man back to Allah’s bosom. In silence, man devotes himself to prayer. Man forgets restlessness and finds eternal joy in his devotion to Allah. But silence is unnatural to man. He begins life with a cry and ends it in stillness. In the interval, he does all he can to make a noise in the world. There are few things of which he stands in more fear than the absence of noise.
