Your Native Village
The name of our village is Monohorpur. It is under Kachua Thana in the district of Chandpur. It is about one mile long and half a mile broad. A good road connects it with the town. It is three miles from Thana town. It is a big village. A road runs through it. There is a market on the north side of the village. A canal flows by the east of the village. There is a large field on the south of the village. Paddy grows there. There are a High School and a Primary School in our village. There is a Post Office in the middle of the village. There are two big Mosques and two Madrasah in our village. There are two big ponds in our village.
About four thousand people live in the village. Most of the people are Muslims and the rest are Hindus. Most of the people are farmers. Some people are highly educated in our village. Some of them are service holders and the rest are businessmen, teachers, doctors, etc.
The land of our village is fertile. Jute and rice are the main agricultural crops of our village. The cultivators grow paddy twice a year. Potato, radish, cabbages, and other vegetables grow in our fertile land.
The natural scenery of our village is very charming. We love our village very much. We are proud of our village.
