Short Composition The Rainy Season in Bangladesh
There are six seasons in Bangladesh. The rainy season is the second. The months Ashwar and Sravan are in the rainy season. Sometimes it lasts up to Ashawin.
Bangladesh is called the country of monsoon. The monsoon blows over our country then. The sky often remains cloudy. Sometimes it rains for days together. One cannot go out of doors. The roads become muddy. People go to different places by boat. The people of the villages cannot do anything without a ship. Sometimes small children go to catch fish by boats.
This season is a blessing to our country. The farmers become busy in their fields. They cultivate their lands, sow seeds, and harvest crops this season.
It has many disadvantages too. The poor suffer much as they cannot go out for work. So they have to stay at home. Life becomes dull. Waterborne diseases break out in rural areas. Crops are washed away, cattle die and poor people become homeless.
However, this season does well for our country. This season is the season of hope – because the farmers harvest crops during this season.
