Movement of the body and limbs may be called physical exercise. Our body is like a machine. To keep the body in good condition we must take physical exercise.


Physical exercise is of many kinds. Running, walking, swimming, and riding is good forms of exercises Gymnastics, wrestling, and outdoor games like football, cricket, and hockey are known as physical exercise. All forms of exercise are not suitable for all. Strong people can take any form of exercise. Weak and old cannot take hard exercise.


 Exercise is very important to keep the body and mind healthy. The body and the mind are closely related. If the body is sound, the mind is also sound. So the sayings go, a sound mind in a sound body.’ Success in life depends on good health. Physical exercise is very important at present. It was not so in ancient times. Therefore, we must take proper physical exercise. It is very useful to us for the movement of health.


Physical exercise is very helpful to keep our body and mind sound. It helps to build our body and mind. It protects our bodies from diseases. It regulates our heartbeat. Physical exercise develops a defense against diseases. So we should form a habit of taking regular exercise.
