Joy and sorrow come by turns in our
life. When happiness comes to our life, time passes very fast, so people say
happiness is very short-lived. But when sorrow engulfs our life, time passes
very slowly. Sometimes great sorrow makes our life motionless. We become very
much depressed at that time and it seems to us that our life is valueless. But in
the course of time, we forget everything and start a new life. In our everyday
life, we often lose our close relatives and become mad with grief for the time
being and again come to the reality of life. The world is going in its own way.
It does not stand still for anyone. The wave of time helps us to forget our
great loss or sorrows. In fact, time acts as the best ointment to forget our
sorrows. If it does not do so our life becomes motionless and undesirable.

নিকট আত্মীয়দের হারিয়ে ফেলি এবং কিছু সময়ের জন্য পাগল প্রায় হয়ে উঠি। তারপর আবার বাস্তব
জীবনে ফিরে আসি। পৃথিবী তার নিজ গতিতে চলছে। কারও জন্য তা থেমে থাকে না। সময়ের ঢেউ
আমাদেরকে দুঃখ-কষ্ট ভুলে যেতে সাহায্য করে। বস্তুত সময় কষ্ট ভুলে থাকার মলমের মতো কাজ
করে। এটা তা না করলে জীবন গতিহীন ও অসহনীয় হয়ে পড়ত।
