Paragraph On Air Pollution
Air is the most important element of our environment. No
creature can live a single moment without air. It is called the life-giving
force. Clean air is essential for life but polluted air is very harmful. When
air contains more carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and other harmful gases, it is
known as air pollution. Human civilization is under threat today due to air
pollution. There are many reasons for air pollution. Firstly, the smoke of
mills and factories is responsible for air pollution. Secondly, the burning of
fossil fuels by mills and factories, brick fields, railway engines, and
powerhouses is also responsible for it. Thirdly, melting tar and pitch for road
construction causes air pollution. Moreover, the use of petrol and diesel,
buses, trucks, and cars creates smoke and causes air pollution. The problem
caused by air pollution is worldwide. It contaminates the atmosphere, damages
buildings and historical monuments, harms the health of the people causes
respiratory diseases, and increases gases like carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
The problem is going out of control day by day. But to ensure a healthier and
happier life, we should control air pollution. We cannot solve the problem
fully but we should find a way to minimize it. The government must come
forward to minimize the problem. We should increase public awareness so that we
can reduce air pollution.

Air pollution refers to the contamination of air which is
dangerous to us. Air is one of the most important elements of the human
environment and man cannot live a single moment without it. For this, clean air
is essential for life. But the air is polluted every day in many ways. For
example, smoke pollutes the air. Man makes fires to cook food, make bricks, and
melt tar for road construction, burn refuse and wood. All these things produce
heavy smoke and this smoke pollutes the air. Another example is that railway
engines and powerhouses burn coal and oil which produce smoke and the air is
polluted. Moreover, buses, trucks, and cars burn petrol and diesel oil that
produce a lot of smoke and pollute the air. Furthermore, the most serious air
pollution occurs in big industrial areas where there are many mills and
factories. Again serious air pollution also occurs in big cities where there
are many buses, trucks, and cars playing on the street every day. Polluted air
causes nowadays incurable diseases in men. Nature has lost its balance as trees
are not enough now. So, it is high time to take proper steps to plant trees
everywhere and to control the unsystematic growth of industries. Finally, all
possible steps should be taken to check air pollution.
